Céline Dion, geboren am 30. März 1968, ist eine weltbekannte kanadische Sängerin. Sie hat über 200 Millionen Tonträger verkauft und gehört damit zu den erfolgreichsten Popsängerinnen weltweit. Einige ihrer größten Hits sind "Beauty and the Beast" (1991), "The Power of Love" (1993), "Because You Loved Me" (1996), "My Heart Will Go On" (1997) und "That´s the Way It Is" (1999). Dion wurde als jüngstes von 14 Kindern in Charlemagne, Québec, geboren. Ihre musikalische Karriere begann früh, als ihre Mutter und ihr Bruder Jacques das Lied "Ce n´était qu´un rêve" komponierten, das sie dem Manager René Angélil schickten. Angélil glaubte an ihr Talent und nahm eine Hypothek auf sein Haus auf, um ihr erstes Album zu finanzieren. Ihre Karriere nahm Fahrt auf, als sie 1988 den Grand Prix Eurovision de la chanson für die Schweiz gewann. Aufgrund dieser Erkrankung musste sie die Europa - Konzerte ihrer "Courage World Tour" auf März und April 2024 verschieben oder sogar absagen. Trotz dieser Herausforderungen bleibt sie eine inspirierende Figur in der Musikwelt.
