The Alan Parsons Project war eine britische Rockband, die 1975 von dem Toningenieur und Produzenten Alan Parsons und dem Songwriter Eric Woolfson gegründet wurde. Die Band war bekannt für ihren progressiven Rock - Sound und ihre konzeptionellen Alben, die oft auf literarischen und wissenschaftlichen Themen basierten. Zu ihren bekanntesten Alben gehören "I Robot" (1977), "Eye in the Sky" (1982) und "The Turn of a Friendly Card" (1980).
