The BossHoss ist eine siebenköpfige Band aus Berlin, die 2004 gegründet wurde. Die Gruppe hatte 2005 ihren Durchbruch mit Interpretationen von Popsongs im Country - Musik - Stil. Inzwischen schreibt der Rhythmusgitarrist Hoss Power die meisten Lieder der Band selbst, wie auch ihre bislang kommerziell erfolgreichste Single "Don´t Gimme That". Die Band wurde 2004 von den beiden Werbegrafikern Sascha Vollmer und Alec Völkel in Berlin gegründet. Die aktuelle Besetzung umfasst Gesang, Waschbrett Alec "Boss Burns" Völkel, Gesang, Rhythmusgitarre Sascha "Hoss Power" Vollmer, Schlagzeug, Hintergrundgesang, Perkussion Ansgar "Sir Frank Doe" Freyberg, Mandoline, Banjo, Waschbrett, Mundharmonika, Stylophone, Hintergrundgesang Malcolm "Hank Williamson" Arison, Kontrabass, E - Bass André "Guss Brooks" Neumann, Leadgitarre, Hintergrundgesang Stefan "Russ T. Rocket" Buehler, Perkussion, Keytar, Melodica, Hintergrundgesang Tobias "Ernesto Escobar de Tijuana" Fischer. Im Jahr 2024 feiert die Band ihr zwanzigjähriges Bestehen mit einer großen Jubiläumstour. Sie sind bekannt für ihre energiegeladenen Live - Auftritte und ihre einzigartige Mischung aus Country und Rock. Ihre Musik und ihr Stil haben ihnen eine treue Fangemeinde eingebracht.
