Vaya Con Dios ist eine belgische Band, die 1986 von Dani Klein, Dirk Schoufs und Willy Lambregt gegründet wurde. Ihr Name bedeutet "Geh mit Gott" auf Spanisch. Die Band wurde bekannt für ihre Mischung aus Jazz, Blues, Soul und Gypsy - Musik, die sich von anderen Pop - Acts ihrer Zeit abhob. Ihr Debütalbum Vaya Con Dios (1988) brachte Hits wie Just a Friend of Mine und Don´t Cry for Louie. Mit Nah Neh Nah und What´s a Woman feierte die Band Anfang der 1990er Jahre internationale Erfolge. Nach dem Tod von Dirk Schoufs 1991 führte Dani Klein die Band als Soloprojekt weiter. Nach einer Abschiedstournee 2014 kehrte Vaya Con Dios 2022 mit neuer Musik zurück. Ihr einzigartiger Stil und Dani Kleins unverwechselbare Stimme machen sie bis heute zu einer Kultband.
