Flying Circus ist eine deutsche Rockband, die 1990 in Grevenbroich gegründet wurde und sich durch eine Mischung aus Hardrock und Progressive Rock auszeichnet. Die Band hat seit ihrer Gründung insgesamt zehn Alben veröffentlicht, darunter "Seasons" (1997), "Out of the Waste Land" (2000), "Pomp" (2004) und "Forth" (2010). Besonders bemerkenswert ist das Konzeptalbum "Starlight Clearing" aus dem Jahr 2016, das die Geschichte einer fiktiven Band aus den späten 60er Jahren erzählt, sowie das Album "1968", das historische Ereignisse des Jahres 1968 musikalisch verarbeitet. Die aktuelle Besetzung der Band brachte 2013 die EP "Ones and Zeros" heraus, gefolgt von einer Neuauflage ihres Debütalbums zum 25 - jährigen Jubiläum im Jahr 2022. Ein weiteres Live - Album, das auf 1.000 Exemplare limitiert war, ist mittlerweile ausverkauft. Die Mitglieder der Band sind auch für ihre Vielseitigkeit bekannt, wie Rüdiger Blömer, der nicht nur Keyboards und Geige spielt, sondern auch als Komponist und Tonmeister tätig ist.
