Ringo Starr (geboren als Richard Starkey am 7. Juli 1940 in Liverpool, England) ist ein legendärer britischer Musiker, Sänger und Schauspieler. Bekannt wurde er als der unersetzliche Schlagzeuger der Beatles, wo er von 1962 bis zu ihrer Auflösung im Jahr 1970 spielte. Starr sang auch gelegentlich Lead - Vocals, bekannt für Songs wie "Yellow Submarine" und "With a Little Help from My Friends". Nach der Trennung der Beatles startete Starr eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere und veröffentlichte Alben wie "Ringo" und "Goodnight Vienna".
